Also named Boya Terrace, Ancient Lute Pavilion is located to the west of the Tortoise Hill, and at the bank of Yuehu Lake. It is the origin place where the popular story of seeking soul mate through “high mountains and flowing water” took place. First built in The Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127 A.D.), it has been ruined and rebuilt many times since then. The original place of marble stone terrace where Yu Boya, an ancient musician in the Spring and Autumn Period (770-475 B.C.), played the ancient zither is still remained there.
